HERE ARE ALL THE MUSICIANS IN CHARGE.
Glenn is our inspiration and adviser. He invented the gig bag in the 1970’s, and has forgotten more about how these things should be made than most of us remember about our mothers. A prolific designer, Glenn is also a drummer at the highest level, having started his career at age 14, sharing international stages with many luminaries. We hope that you will read his letter about his decision to sell the company, HERE.
NEW OWNER, OLD HAND.
Like Glenn, Steve is a musician, having played trumpet professionally for many years. He is also the owner of Torpedo Bags, a music instrument case company he formed in 2000. His focus has always been to make gear that doesn’t fall apart and is actually protective of its contents. He’s married to his wife Gina of 12 years, has 2 wonderful kids, and a dog who doesn’t like meat balls.
Kelli is the best thing to happen to your order since Fritz Reiner took charge of the CSO. Her job is to tackle our logistics, organize our production, and help get your order out the door wirklich schnell. Have a question? Kelli has your answer. She also plays French horn, having studied music at the University of St. Thomas, where one of her teachers was Chris Volpe.
Frequently on the road with Har Mar Superstar and other groove units, Jake is a world class trumpet player who is addicted to coffee and practice. When he’s not on the road, Jake handles quite a few of the emails. After that, it’s anyone’s bet, as Steve has him doing anything from cutting to clicking to cleaning. If you want to talk about a new trumpet mouthpiece, Jake’s your guy.
