About Us

Glenn is our inspiration and adviser. He invented the gig bag in the 1970’s, and has forgotten more about how these things should be made than most of us remember about our mothers. A prolific designer, Glenn is also a drummer at the highest level, having started his career at age 14, sharing international stages with many luminaries. We hope that you will read his letter about his decision to sell the company, HERE.

Like Glenn, Steve is a musician, having played trumpet professionally for many years. He is also the owner of Torpedo Bags, a music instrument case company he formed in 2000. His focus has always been to make gear that doesn’t fall apart and is actually protective of its contents. He’s married to his wife Gina of 12 years, has 2 wonderful kids, and a dog who doesn’t like meat balls.

Jen joined us in September 2021. She brings 22 years of MI ownership to TB/GCC – she owned a full-line music store in Wisconsin (where she sold our products), so she gets MI and she gets US.
She also just happens to be a pretty accomplished actor/singer…she’s toured the country with numerous productions and was on Broadway in Mamma Mia! for a total of 5 years before she was lured back to the Midwest. Jen ALSO went to University with Steve Kreisel, so she gets his humor…VERY IMPORTANT.
