Our Straight Neck Soprano Saxophone Gig Bags have soft foam interiors and a shell of your choice of Top Grain Leather or Cordura nylon. We use only medical grade foam which resists flattening, cracking, and crumbling over time. Our bags provide an inch of foam protection to your sax in every direction. This foam cushion is encased in one of our top-quality exteriors: Top Grain Leather or genuine Cordura Nylon (the same material used in luggage and motorcycle jackets).

Durability:

Our legacy of durability goes back to Glenn Cronkhite’s first cases in the 1970s. There’s a good chance Glenn drew the first Soprano Sax Gig Bag pattern for his friend and neighbor Lenny Pickett back in the 1970s, when the designs were being made in San Francisco! We are constantly innovating to ensure that cases are built stand the test of time as investment pieces. We use the best materials in every step of production to ensure that your Soprano Sax Gig Bag will last for years. Our #10 YKK zippers do not crimp or unthread. We sew the cases together with T138 thread which is resistant to weakening from wear and UV exposure. Our brass-plated steel hardware is among the strongest on the market.

All Soprano Sax Gig Bags come with one two 2″-wide rubberized straps to conveniently carry your case.

Specs:

A leather gig bag is 2.5 pounds (1.2 kilo) and the cordura bag is 1.5 pounds (0.8).

NOTE: Most Cronkhite gig bag orders are cut and sewn after the order is made. If you need a rush, be sure to check with us first.
