Frequently Asked Questions
What color options are available?
All of our cases are available in either top grain leather, or Cordura nylon. We offer six leather colors* and eight Cordura colors.

*We try to keep our leather colors consistent, and always source them from the same tannery. However, due to the differences in natural products, there may be slight variation in color.
Can I make changes to the design of my case?
We get many requests to change design elements of our cases, whether it be strap placement, the location of a logo, the addition of wheels, or extra pockets. Each blueprint that we use has been drafted to the specific dimensions of your instrument, and every part of the case has been designed to ensure that your instrument is protected and easy to transport, so we heavily discourage changes.
However, we do offer this service through our design services page. Please note that any edits will increase the turnaround time for your case. A base additional charge of $300 will be added for the first alteration to an existing bag, with $200 for additional changes.
We also do not offer refunds for or accept returns of edited cases.
Why does the website not have a photograph of my case/color choice?
We are a small business and our catalog has grown faster than our ability to photograph products!
We are working to eventually have a base photograph for each product, but in the meantime, if your case is missing pictures, please message us, and someone on our team will get in touch to help.
What are your options for rush orders?
Since we have 63,000 product variations, we do not stock most items. You can check out our Stock Page to see if we have what you need. If not, contact us — if we aren’t incredibly busy, we may be able to discuss rush options (usually associated with a rush fee) and get one done quickly for you.
Please do not select an express shipping option until you talk to us.
I have a specialized instrument that does not appear on your website. Are you able to make a case for me?
If you are looking for a case for an uncommon instrument, please send us a clear photo of your instrument next to a standard instrument of similar size, along with your instrument’s dimensions, and we will work with you to see what is possible!
What is your return policy?
Because each bag is hand-cut and hand-made with your choice of exterior and color(s), we do not accept any returns unless there is a clear manufacturer’s defect with the bag.
Please choose your product carefully and be confident of your selection before purchasing.
How should I care for my bag?
For leather cases: apply leather lotion once a year to keep it moisturized. Quality leather products can last decades, but leather can start to crack once the natural and tanning oils dry up. Do NOT use mink oil or other oily or waxy treatments — these are for waterproofing boots, and will shorten the life of your leather gig bag.
For Cordura cases: clean any dirt or dust with a damp cloth. It won’t hurt your case to apply a waterproofing product, however the Cordura we source is water-resistant and will be just fine in the occasional rain storm.
